Fishing in West Matagorda Bay out of Palacios, Texas. Fish for Redfish, Trout, and Flounder. I have been fishing these waters my entire life and know many different areas based on the type of fishing you prefer. Whether it is fishing from the boat or wade fishing I have got a spot for you.
All fishermen must have a valid Texas fishing license with Saltwater Stamp. Other items you might want to bring include sunscreen, cap, camera, drinks and ice chest to take your fish home. All fish will be cleaned at the end of the trip for you to take home.

Trout, Trout, and more Trout. April was a great month for trout. Many limits of nice size trout taken from West Bay the last few weeks in April. May looks to be a great month ahead as the Redfish start to move in.
