Fishing in West Matagorda Bay out of Palacios, Texas. Fish for Redfish, Trout, Flounder and Tripletail. I have been fishing these waters my entire life and know many different areas based on the type of fishing you prefer. Whether it is fishing from the boat or wade fishing I have got a spot for you.
All fishermen must have a valid Texas fishing license with Saltwater Stamp. Other items you might want to bring include sunscreen, cap, camera, drinks and ice chest to take your fish home. All fish will be cleaned at the end of the trip for you to take home.

Fishing Report
It’s the beginning of December and we have already seen snow. What a winter we have ahead of us. I have packed up my fishing gear and moved to the deer blind for the rest of the year.
It has been a great year on the water where I spent a lot of the year fishing for tripletail. We managed to catch them from late spring until the end of the summer. These fish are great to eat and put up one heck of a fight. In between I had several trips where we brought in the trout, reds and even a few flounder. If you have an itch to fish, let me know I am already booking trips for the spring.
