The Retreat is 8 miles from the town of Palacios, located on 20 Acres off of Cashes Creek.  Palacios is 90 Soutwest of Houston.  This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house has everything you need to get away from it all. The Retreat sleeps 6 persons, (one queen, two twin and a full size futon).

Things to do at the retreat include fishing for redfish, trout and flounder from the lighted pier, you can bird watch or just relax in the sea breeze on the porch.

Things to do in the area: Downtown Palacios has two pavilion fishing piers, a seawall, and small beach. There are various shops and restaurants located downtown. Various local activities and events take place throughout the year (check online at palaciosbeacon.com or palacioschamber.com).

Amenities provided: Linens, towels, kitchen goods, deck chairs, oven, refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave. Items you should bring: toiletries, food and beverages. There is no phone service at the retreat.

Rates: In Season: Memorial Day Weekend – Labor Day Weekend $125/night. Off Season $95/night. Check in and out based on availability. A one night deposit is due when booking, cancellations with 30 days notice will receive full deposit back. Cancellations with less than 30 days can reschedule for another date. No smoking allowed or pets.

Odds & Ends The Retreat was built in 1989. There are cattle surrounding the property but the house is fenced in. The Retreat is nestled on a 45-acre tract of land about 150 yards from the creek.
